The Dinosaur Store in Cocoa Beach
Looking For Fun Beyond The Beach?
A beach vacation is not only fun but also a great memory! The days are filled with plenty of sunshine, sand and splashing in the waves. Eventually, you’ll need a break from the beach and need some variety on your beach vacation to Florida’s Space Coast. Your kids will love exploring the area and your sun-kissed skin will thank you!
Here is something to do on Florida’s Space Coast that does not involve sand, swimsuits or sunscreen.
The Dinosaur Store
Located just two blocks from the beach, The Dinosaur Store in Cocoa Beach features the largest array of fossils you have ever seen. Once you have perused all of the stunning dinosaur skeletons and fossils for sale in the front of the store, check out The Activity Zone – wristbands are $8 for kids and $6 for adults. The Activity Zone has unlimited arcade and educational games; live animal exhibits with snakes, lizards, alligators; and panning for fossils and shells. For an additional $3, thrill seekers may want to try the spinning raft ride that simulates a wild, white water rafting. Coming at the end of April is the Museum of Dinosaurs and Ancient Cultures! The Dinosaur Store is open from 10 to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 12 to 5 p.m. on Sunday. DinosaurStore.com, (321) 783-7300
